I view sociology not merely as an academic discipline but as a powerful tool for social empowerment and cultural transformation. This perspective emerges from a deliberate integration of critical, applied, and human-centered approaches. Within this framework, sociology proves especially effective in addressing issues such as migration, social integration, inclusive education, and the reconstruction of identity in multicultural societies.
I have applied this approach practically in my academic and social activities, particularly within the context of higher education in Afghanistan and cultural and social programs in the United Kingdom. In these efforts, I strive to bring sociological knowledge into lived experience where concepts like social justice, cultural and social capital, and social activism take on real meaning and foster intercultural understanding and dialogue.
Ultimately, my goal is to move sociology from a theoretical realm into practical application, offering in-depth analyses that guide actions directly impacting the quality of human life. Central to this approach is the reconstruction and strengthening of both individual and collective identities, as well as the consolidation of social positions, which I regard as essential outcomes of meaningful social engagement.
